Getting to Aspen

By Car:
From Denver Aspen is located 220 miles or 3.5 hours West. Take I70 West to Glenwood Springs. Take highway 82 east. The scenic summer route travels thru Leadville and over breathtaking Independence Pass.

By Air
Aspen is a half hour flight on United Express from Denver International Airport. Aspen's Sardy Field is 3 miles from town. Grab a waiting taxi or limo or walk a short distance to the highway and get the free bus to town. Eagle County Airport is 70 miles, 1.5 hours from Aspen.

The Tyrolean Lodge is on First and Main Street in the heart of downtown Aspen.

Climate
Aspen is characteristic of high altitudes with low humidity and intense sunshine. Nights get chilly. Aspen's elevation is 7,900 feet above sea level.
